Heavy and thick Victorian gold filled watch chain 11 1/4 inches long with T bar toggle , signet wax seal stamp fob & order PG Co swivel clasp

A petite signet fob pendant and wide toggle hangs from this antique Victorian gold filled pocketwatch chain. The 11 1/4 inch chain is constructed with elaborate large fancy links and chains of oval and round curb links. The larger links have scroll patterned cubed rectangular shapes soldered in their centers One end of the chain has a large swivel watch clasp and the other end has a large jump ring with the fob and toggle dangling from separate chains.

The profiles of the fob have an airy linear Art Deco design. The bottom has a small 9.7mm x 6.5mm blank flat oval space meant for a personalized monogram. It dangles from a skinny 1.9mm curb chain.

A wide 1 5/8 inch gold filled toggle dangles next to the fob. One toggle end is open and the seam can be seen starting from the edge, as photographed. The watch clasp is in working order condition and is signed, "P. G. Co."

An acid assay test was done on a few of the links to verify that it is indeed gold filled. The hardware and fob also tested as gold fill. This chain would be perfect for a vintage pocket watch or could possibly be converted into a necklace with added chain or parts repurposed.

This piece is in good antique condition, but does show age wear. There is surface wear, loss of gold finish and patina. Overall, it a nice piece with lots of character. Please see photos for condition and detailed measurements below.
