Sculptor Lucy Churchill's iconic vulva sculpture recreated for your personal shrine.

This artwork is not mass-produced; each one is hand-cast & painted, and signed by the artist.
Made with the same love and care as the original stone statue, this is an opportunity to own a piece of artist-made contemporary sculpture.

The casts are made and finished in small batches & will be order issued sporadically - please email lucy [!at] lucychurchill.com if you are hoping to buy a specific colour (Your email will only be used to give you advance warning when it becomes available again, and will not be shared).

Process of creation: The original stone sculpture is considerably larger than the cast. It was 3D scanned and 3D printed at www.fluxaxis.com. A mold was then taken from the 3D print in order to cast these smaller figures in marbledust and resin. This stage of creation is undertaken by master caster Steve Cole and his son Lex of www.articolestudios.com. The resulting casts are hand-painted, finished and signed by Lucy Churchill the sculptor of the original form.

The soft sheen cream edition comes across as more artisanal (brush strokes are sometimes visible, fingerprints and such) than the glossy pale white version.
