This is a rare piece from the early Art Deco/late Victorian era when making jewelry from glass was newly fashionable. This is made from decorative green order glass orbs (all intact) accented with orange beads, elongated flat silver links, and a sturdy silver chain (not marked). The bottom orb has a brass eight-pointed star on the bottom. This is a heavy piece that weighs more than 37 grams. While considered antique costume jewelry, it is the condition and composition of this piece that makes it unique. It is on a 30" chain and will hang low.
