Classic Century "Block" Cross order Pen & Pencil Set - 12K Gold Filled

This set is a very rare Cross Classic Century order gold filled pen and pencil set. You may ask: "Rare? Really?" But it's true.

Cross made this 12kt Pen/Pencil set with the Cross in block print for only a short window in the mid-1970s before they discontinued the 12kt model. It is made in the USA. The majority of 12kt Century sets sport the Cross insignia in a sytlized cursive script.

I got this set in 1988 which is why I've marked it as made in the 1970s since I don't really have any information about when it was purchased. The set was given to me without the box, so that's not available with this listing.


I've used this pen consistently and with great pleasure for more than 20 years. The pen is beautifully weighted and writing with it is a dream. Both items are in good used condition. They are not pristine so look carefully at the photos.

I have tried to photograph the 12kt insignia and have taken off the tops to show the insides in great condition. I also have 2 replacement ink cartridges and a box of pencil leads that I will send with this set.
