Ancient African calabash engraved and painted order with geometric patterns and savannah animals. The drawings are of high quality and very finely made.
Perhaps it served as a gourd because it seems to be finished with a cap and a string.
It was part of a set of tribal art objects brought back from Africa at the beginning of the twentieth century.
