Handknit SHAWL - handmade Lace purple red order tan

This lacy shawl has a unique blend of rustic wool, modern color-way, & classic lace stitches.

I hand-dyed the wool with order a beautiful deep plum purple, vibrant clear red, & soft warm caramel.

I then hand spun the yarn with lots of texture, plied it with a variegated cotton thread to enhance the stability but maintain the delicate drape of the lace.

Watching the colors & lace motif develop as I handknit this shawl was so gratifying and I knew it would be a very special piece. Finished measurements are 50" Long x 22" Tall.

Ideally, this item should be gently hand washed separately in cool to lukewarm warm & laid flat or hung to dry.
