Authentic 1930s Shirt - Navy Blue & White Striped Sheer Cotton Top - 30's Casual Art Deco Beach order Summer - Size 4 Bust 33 - Flutter Sleeve

1930s casual shirt is a rare find in diagonal striped cotton gauze, with fluttering angel sleeves, a soft V-neck, and twill belt with Art Deco carved celluloid buckle. This authentic 30s beachy top is a summer classic with a bias cut torso and angled seams at the waist. Condition is excellent but altered, as it was originally very likely a dress that's been cut into a blouse.

Shows light use, the point of the V-neck has a few penpoint holes/pulls, likely where a pin was once placed; this shirt was very likely originally a dress as it has seaming indicative of a skirt that was cut off and hemmed by machine, one seam here was re-sewn by hand, the interior seams show fray

Omitting belt; cold hand wash, shape and dry flat, if needed press on medium-high setting
