Vintage large brass dragon Phoenix hanging hook. This is an ornate winged dragon-type creature. It has fantastic detailing. The backplate has a hole top and bottom for screws. It is very gothic Victorian in style and was made in Holland. The measurements are approximately 9” inches tall, and 6” inches wide from the back to the tip of the hook. This weighs approximately 1 lb. Two of the most powerful of the four celestial animals are the dragon and phoenix. The dragon and phoenix are the perfect couples in Feng Shui. Dragon is "yang" while Phoenix is "yin", and they complement each other in creating a yin-yang balance to harvest successful matrimonial bliss. This should make a wonderful gift, or lovely to add to your vintage collection. All vintage pieces come with wear due to age over time.
