Should hang down past top mattress on most beds. It has a few repairs on it where new patchwork squares have been added. There are also a few areas still in need of repair where fabric has worn. It is a lovely quilt with beautiful colors. Those that are good at repairs will have a beautiful quilt. It is hand stitched but believe it was a heirloom store purchased quilt originally.
