It was created as part of a series of floral works for the Nature of Things exhibition in Fremantle, WA. This painting has depth and interest due to the multi layered background. Stencils, stamping and free brush stokes are built up as under layers, with transparency allowing some of these to show through in the final image. Acrylic ink and pencil have also been applied.
