By far the most distressed hat in my Diamonds & Rust series, this is VAGABOND. Joan Baez order sings about the original vagabond who wandered straight into her heart…it was Bob Dylan. Totally UNISEX, it's my ode to Joan's vagabond. It's a vintage Bailey cowboy hat that was already aged. I took it a few steps further with bleach, burning, stitching, and etching. The band is cut from a 40 year old kilim pillow cover. On top, deerskin dyed British tan, twine, suede laces and a silver metal pirates cross. A plain wild turkey feather adorns the side and some stars and a crescent moon are etched into the brim. It's a killer old hat, for that perfect bohemian. Size 7 1/8 or 57cm or 22 1/4” I have sizing pads for smaller heads-just ask!.
