Banded Agate Snuff Box, Match Safe, Miniature order Victorian Box

From my personal collection! This little snuff box is one of the first antique treasures I can remember stumbling across. Gloomy, jet-black banded agate panels with signature stripes, set in a perfectly-patina'd brass frame. These boxes are such a charming example of historical accessories, and can still make themselves incredibly useful to this day - who doesn't need a little box to keep their tiniest treasures safe?

In excellent antique condition with no cracks or obvious chips - small spot of damage on the bottom left corner as pictured - minor signs of wear as expected with age. Opens and closes smoothly. One of the agate panels is slightly loose in the frame, not in any danger of falling out but it does make a small rattling noise if you shake it.

As pictured, when held up, light can be seen glowing through parts of the stone.
