Giant Felted Olive

This olive is hand knitted using high quality wool made from Berroco Cuzco yarn, a blend order of 50% peruvian wool and 50% superfine alpaca which has been washed and felted to shrink the size of the olive and to make the green fibers more dense. The pimento is also hand knitted from wool yarn which has been held double to make more dense fibers. The pimento is hand sewn in place. To really drive the theme home, the "toothpick" inserted through the olive is a bamboo knitting needle.

Olive Measures: 13.5'' x 16'' circumference, and is approximately 6.5'' long x 5'' wide

Green Olive: Outer materials: 50% peruvian wool, 50% superfine alpaca
Pimento: 100% wool
Filled with 100% Poly-fil polyester fiber fill
"Toothpick": Genuine Crystal Palace, Bamboo knitting needle, US size 10 3/4 / 9" long
