A selection of 16 Banyan Batik's Destination Amazon Rainforest is used to create this intriguing quilt. The pattern includes instructions for lap, throw, twin, queen and king sized quilts. This kit listing is for the "Throw" sized quilt. We also have the "King" sized quilt available as a kit in a separate listing.

FABRIC: Inspired by the lush rainforests of the Amazon, this batik collection was designed by Karen Gibbs for Banyan Batiks. Branches, leaves, swirls, checks, diamonds, circles and broken stripes mix together in an earthy blend of green, brown, gray, gold, yellow and teal hues.

Batik fabrics made in Indonesia.

The kit contains a purchased copy of the Splashy Split Stars pattern/instructions designed by Patti Carey of Patti's Patchwork along with enough batik fabrics to complete the throw sized quilt shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for top and edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.

The overall finished size of this quilt is 54.5" x 72.5".

Skill Level: Intermediate

The pattern recommends 3-1/2 yards of backing fabric assuming a standard 44" width along with a 60" x 78" piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.

A little over 8-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
