Black order and white plaid scarf / handwoven scarf / merino wool scarf / winter scarf

A grainy, sketchy, somewhat ethereal plaid in black and white. The plaid blocks are formed by varying the percentage of black and white yarns in the tweed structure. A very interesting and unique weave!

My marled merino scarf is my signature design. Woven of Australian Merino Wool (and/or Merino/Silk blend), they are warm, soft, order and bulky to keep you cozy in the winter. Each is unique: from subtle to bold in solids, banded, stripes, and plaids. The marled appearance is achieved by threading and weaving three (un-plied) threads at a time. This process affords me the opportunity to offer this fine handwoven muffler at a modest price. Dimensions are approximately 10" x 68" + a 4" hand twisted fringe. Weight 7-8 oz. Handwash or dryclean.

NOTICE: SHIPPING TO CANADA and all other countries will be by International First Class mail. Expect shipping times to nominally be 10-14 days, however, 3-4 weeks is not uncommon.
