Vintage Arvin "Velvet Voice" order Portable Tube Radio

order Vintage 1950s Arvin 8583 portable radio.

Everything cool has already been done..

The "Velvet Voice" so smooth.

Love this radio. 60 plus years young and looking great.

Features aluminum banding and a metal body coated with a almost rubber feeling vinal which is in excellent condition.

The large T handle doubles as the antenna and also rotates.

Original power cord is included. There is a bare copper spot that you can see in the photos.

When turned on it produces a humming that ascends with volume. After several minutes of warming up the radio would attempt to recieve signal but it was intermittent and never fully achieved.

11 inces wide x 8.75 tall x 2.5 deep.
