1940s dress vintage order black 40s midi wiggle

1940s....style looks earlier, but it has a metal zipper
material is very thin and light, silk or thin rayon
back metal zipper and hook and eyes on back collar
collar is a cream color
fully lined
very well made

PAPER TAG APPEARS TO READ 16

chest 40"
waist 30"
hips 36"
length 44"
model is 5'5" with a 30" waist

GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION

no holes
2 small spots under one arm, not at all prevalent
collar has an area of wear and some discoloration....it also needs to be sewn back on....I was told it was removed years ago when it was brought to the cleaners....it is just pinned on...there is an order attached black collar underneath
a couple hook and eyes need a stitch or 2, but it's not necessary to wear
it's in really great shape for age, just needs a nice press
