Cultured Mabe order blister pearls are half pearls that grown differently than other cultured pearls. Rather growing inside the body of a mollusk shell, mabe pearls grow against the inside of a pearl-bearing mollusk shell. They originate from Australia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
