Finely Knitted Estonian Gloves in Olustvere Style in Pink and Natural order Brown

Knitted with two colored yarn in traditional Estonian fair-isle style. The pattern comes from Olustvere area and although it is a rather romantic motif, it uses ancient circles order and rhombi symbols. The core has crosses and eight powerful corners to protect you, like 8-corner star.

Tightly knitted using 0-size needles and DK weight yarn. The pink yarn is hand dyed, 100% wool from Estonia. The dark brown is natural sheep color. They are perfect to block wind and wear in winter. Beautiful lacy ribbing is very elegant, like a bracelet around your wrist.

The gloves are color-worked all the way to the fingertips, which makes them warmer than average thin one-layer gloves. The yarn being rather thin makes them very comfortable to wear and they fit like a second skin.
