Authentic WWII Era Navy Wool Sailor Shirt and Hat⚓

Era: 1940s

Materials: Predominately deep navy wool with areas of cotton trim, leather rim (hat), and celluloid anchor buttons.

Details:
Sweet sailor top with iconic collar, curved yoke chest and back, welt pocket order, anchor button shirt cuffs and adorned throughout with military embroidery and cotton trim. Matching beret is complete with U.S. NAVY ribbon and leather-lined inner rim.

The hat is labeled 7 3/8 which corresponds to a vintage large or 23 1/8" head circumference.

Condition: Exceptionally good! There is one tiny and discrete mend to the lower front of the shirt.
