Antique French Enamel Kitchen Scales GRAY Enamel and Aluminium Torix 1950s

French enamel scales, the brand is just visible on order the front lid, Torix. There is a lovely little drawer that opens forward to reveal a set of 10 pewter weights.

They are in reasonably good vintage condition with some small chippy areas in the paint and a few little areas that are marked and the odd little dink. I have cleaned them but they have still small traces of a dustier time. This adds to their shabby chic appeal. I am selling these as a decorative item as I am unsure if they work well enough to weigh. There are 2 little weights missing. The trays are a lightweight aluminium and have traces of time and oxidisation. The Torix plaque on the front is a little loose but still holding. I have a set of butchers scales on my kitchen island that I use as a fruit bowl, why not it is great to put these old things to use. They would also look great if you have a large bathroom, they could hold your decorative soap. They would look great on a country farmhouse table as candle holders. I am sure you could think of even more ideas!
