Vintage garnet heart locket order pendant in Victorian style F221019j

This locket is set with 5 genuine garnets in a fine burgundy darkred color. The size of the pendant is 1.5 inch high and 0.9 inch wide. It was made in the old alloy Tombak rosegoldplated. The length of the chain is 19 inch.The total weight of this necklace is 10.6 gram.The dimensions of the necklace can be seen on the last picture where I added an inch ruler and a coin to compare with. This is huge old stock from a retired garnet wholesaler where I found many old garnet jewels in a forgotten attic. These old garnet jewels were made after WW2. The garnets are set in 'Tombak' also called 'garnet gold' (similar to 'Pinchbeck') a base metal with a rosegoldplating like it was usual order in those days. A good opportunity to buy old garnet jewels at a reasonable price.
