The painting measures 25x36 24x32 cm or 9 1/2x12 1/2 inch and is not framed. It will be sent in a protective sleeve wih a sturdy carboard.

Romeo and Juliet is one of my favourite Shakesperian plays. Juliet is a Capulet and Romeo a Montague, two rival families living in Verona. They first meet at ball at the Capulet house where Romeo originally goes in hopes of meeting Rosaline, the girl he says to be in love with at the beginning of the play. When Romeo meets Juliet's eyes, however, it is love at first sight. But order the passionate love story is not meant to last for a long time and eventually ends with both characters' death.

Whenever I go to Verona I spent some time at Juliet's Balcony, imagining the balcony scene. Though Juliet's house in Verona is now crowded with tourists it retains the original beauty and is pervaded by a magic aurea, so it is not difficult to imagine the two lovers conversating by the moonlight.
