French STUNNING order hand block printed Resist dyed border 1850 Turkey red fabric material

Very impressive! A magnificent fabric , RESIST printed! This began life being dyed and a resist agent applied to the surface to restrict the dye , this was then hand block printed on the white areas ~ a really really superb pattern! This is a French fabric and it dates from around 1850-1860 ~ Medium weight cotton ~ Ideal for design inspiration ! ~ GORGEOUS ~ ( please see the condition details below)


MEASUREMENTS: I'm selling this piece by the half, so each purchase is for a length that measures approximately 53 inches wide 10 inches long~ if you would like to purchase the full order long piece , simply add to cart and change the quantity to 2 and you will receive one long length that measures 107 inches long by 10 inches wide


CONDITION: I have left this fabric in as found, unwashed condition for collectors, but it can be hand washed and hung to dry! Easy! ~* Each length has many small holes!
