thuya is a burlwood that grows in the desert region of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and in southern Spain. Its color varies between golden brown and dark brown with an important order presence of many "eyes" which do not pose any problem when turning, sanding, or finishing on the contrary it adds a relevant beauty to your achievements.
The grain can be wild or swirled, and the wood is dense (2 pieces of the same size but with deferent density. thuya Burl has a pleasant scent like a mixture of lemon and cedar, a scent that lasts a lifetime. Sealer is recommended after finishing.
