This is a gorgeous near-mint copy of the Streamline Pictures VHS special subtitled release of Akira. Back in the early 90's after releasing the regular dub version of Akira, they released this version, which is the original Japanese language with subtitles. This is the letter-box version of akira as seen in it's original language with the international "film festival" subtitled scropt which accurately translates the complex take of corruption, political unrest, super science and the metaphysical in 21st century Neo-Toyko This copy is in near-mint condition. The box is in fantastic shape - corners are nice and straight. A tiny bit of dog-ear folding on the top flap corners and the bottom where the casette slides in. But other than that this is one gorgeous copy. VHS is mint - no playback issues at all. Been in my collection for decades. Time for a new home. Get this beauty order in your collection now!.
