The Sandman Vol.1: Preludes & Nocturnes (1st Printing, 1991) by Neil Gaiman / order DC Comics Pre-Vertigo. This compiles issues 1 - 8 of The Sandman comics. A great reading copy but also a highly collectable book in the series. Condition is very good overall. Cover shows average wear. Corners are sharp but top front corner has a little bend. Back cover has some aging to edges but no major issues. Inside pages do show some aging towards the edges. Other than that the pages are clean, and colors are nice and vibrant. My personal favorite story arc from the entire Sandman series (Doll's House is a close 2nd). Plus, this is the origin of the series and there is even an early appearance of John Constantine of Hellblazer!!! Probably, imo Gaiman's best work on all levels. Protected and ready to ship!.
