Breaking up a decades long collection.
I have been collecting various gemstones from Brazil for decades.
I was fortunate enough to have my Brazilian friend, an expert gem cutter, introduce me to many gems
with various cuts and qualities.
Over the years I collected , sold and donated my gemstones to museums such as the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC
and The American Museum of Natural History in New York.
Tiffany was also one of my clients.
Many years later I sold most of my collection right here online.

I kept some favorites, and even framed them in solid 14kt gold bezels, so here are some.

About me:
I have loved beads and jewelry and dreams of travel since childhood.My favorite book was Treasure Island and on the cover of that book was a magical, large chest brimming with pearls , beads and gold. I asked my mom if I can have a chest like that sometime and she answered very decisively NO!

As life will have it, I have many chests filled with treasures that I have collected through my work and travels.
Sorry, mom, you were wrong and happy to be so.

I have been designing for the most estimable museums and catalogs for many years. Among them are The Smithsonian, The Met, Sundance catalog and many many more.
I have also owned 3 brick-and-mortar jewelry galleries.
I revel in world cultures as I experience them through my travels, bringing back little treasures to use in my designs.

My biggest inspiration is Mother Nature,her beauty and abundance of materials such as gemstones and precious metals. My creativity is driven by the universal language of color and shape, as well as the marriage between precious and whimsical.
