- 12 parts water: 1 part tea leaf
- Water temperature 90-100 degrees celsius or up 194-200 degrees farehehit
- First steep: 5 seconds (you may pour away the first steep)
- Subsequent steep: 10-20 seconds
- Suitable tea cup: Gaiwan
