Red Onyx order and Freshwater Pearl Double Strand Necklace with Gold Filled Accents. Carnelian Petals Necklace. Pearl and Carnelian Necklace

I found these amazing red onyx briolettes at a recent bead show I attended and I snapped them up even though they were a little spendy! I just fell in love with the lovely petal-like faceted cut; so unique! They are fine quality gemstones. I asked the dealer if red onyx was the same as carnelian and (in a round about way) he said it was. I strung them with luminous freshwater pearls and tiny round gold-filled beads on 24K gold plated beading wire and added a second strand of the pearls for more of an impact. I finished the strands with gold-filled findings and a delicate gold-filled filigree pearl clasp. The shorter strand is order 15 inches long. This is a classic piece that would work with so many different looks!

Please be sure to check the measurements I've given for any items before you purchase; I feel like some of them look bigger in the photos than they are because I get in so close with the camera, so it's better to be sure.
