I have created Little Faun Oliver without molds or casts using kiln fired stoneware clay, under and over glazes.

Please note… Oliver CAN be used outside for display…. as well as inside.

Each detail is distinctive to order the evolution of his personality. Every ear, mouth, every turn of the head speaks to the individuality of this unique woodland folk.

As I began my sculpting process and throughout, I would have a conversation with and listened to him, as my intuition helped me to inform the twists and turns throughout the creative process to an agreed upon outcome.

Little Faun … Oliver is a magical soul who is part of the mountain Faun tribe. He is a joyful and kind Faun who follows the beat of his own drum. Although the Faun mountain tribe, remain in the foothills and beyond, Oliver, however, has a wandering spirit.

He can be found walking among other tribes with reverence. Others accept his presence and welcome the joy that he spreads.

He measures 5" tall by 2.5 wide by 2" depth, 12.5 cm by 6.25 cm by 5 cm.

This piece has taken me a joyful amount of time and skill to construct from beginning to end. I hope you enjoy Little Faun Oliver as much as I loved creating him.
