It was used in antiquity (probably in the 1930s) to cook food on the fire and can be clearly understood from the base blackened by the flame.
Note the messy decorative enamel that gives a simple rustic and original touch.
Ideal to use as a decorative rustic object or as a simple rustic and original collectible object, coming from Italy and more precisely from Salento (Puglia) where this object was used daily as a cooking pot.
