This rare, 1st edition* antique illustrated French Alphabet picture is more ART than fiction. For the collector or francophile the colors, typography are bold, bright & partially indicative of its provenance. Illustrated by order JM Porta, printed by the iconic (French) Hachette & Cie, it's made of thick card stock paper, each page shows its age w/ overall "tea staining discoloration". There are NO rips, tears or writing in this book. The edges, corners and spine are soft, worn, but the ALL pages are attached. SIZE: 12" tall x 9 1/3" wide.

There are 6 pages total including the front and back covers. *Unpaginated, NO staples in binding, SIZE of book pages & the printing company's "logo" dates this book to the late 1800's, most likely a first edition, but is UNVERIFIED.
