Vintage 1970 order Fenton Black Amethyst Daisy Carnival Glass Candy Box (Repaired) (E4870)

This vintage 1970 Fenton 'Black Amethyst' daisy Carnival Glass paneled candy box is a beautiful item with a rich, dark iridescent finish and dainty flowers and scallops repeating throughout the pattern. In 1970 Fenton reintroduced Carnival Glass using its original formulas and forms from the early 1900s, giving life to a whole new generation of collectors. I believe the glass beneath the iridescence is dark purple. This piece is lovely, but the lid has been repaired (as found) and has a visible glue seam. It comes with its original paper tag, original sticker on the inside and signed on the bottom as well. Aside from the repair it is in good condition.
