Replicate a modern marvel with the famed Farnsworth House™! Few one-room homes are as strikingly modern and instantly recognizable as the Farnsworth House™, designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. This single-story steel structure with floor-to-ceiling glass walls was meant to open a minimalist interior to nature in an extreme way. Construction took place from 1945–1951 on a 60-acre estate beside the Fox River in Plano, IL, where it still stands today. The assembled Farnsworth House model is over 10” wide with printed name label and includes a booklet with facts. RETIRED Architecture Farnsworth House set is 100% complete and slightly disassembled to fit in order box. All pieces removed have been put in new bag so they aren't loose in box. Original Box and manual are included. Set was assembled by adult and displayed only. Set was dusted but may have some lingering. Set will be carefully packed for shipping. From a smoke free home.
