This lovely oval pink shell Cameo is set in a gold tone filigree mount. SKU-747


The Cameo brooch can be worn many different ways. The classical and most practiced is on a lapel or shoulder. Some Cameos, depending on their size can also be worn on a ribbon (velvet or other fabric) around the neck. The size of this Conch shell cameo is perfect to wear on the neck.

The cameo depicts the profile of Goddess Aphrodite/ Venus de Milo. She is robed in a Roman Toga. The hand-carved Cameo is secured by 8 prongs.

Aphrodite is an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation. She was reconciled with the Roman goddess Venus.
