"Asanoha order (hemp leaf)" is one of the most popular Japanese traditional patterns. This pattern was named Asanoha because the shape literally looks like a hemp leaf.
the pattern was often used for clothes of newborn children, to bring good fortune to the wearer. Because hemp was known for its rapid growth.
