3/4" thick sides, 2" tall with finger groove, and rounded top edges.
Miter jointed.
1/2" thick Plywood surface is inset midway between the top and bottom rails to provide an easy grip when carrying and some stability when used on a small table.


Urethane finished.

Approximately 36" x 24" outside dimensions, sized for 1000 piece puzzles.
Approximate interior dimensions - 34 1/2" x 22 1/2".

I can make these with 1/4" or 3/8" plywood instead of 1/2" plywood for lighter weight.
The sides can also be 1/2" instead of 3/4".

The version with 1/2" plywood and 3/4" mahogany sides weighs about 6 pounds and is very stiff.
