Metaxa Brandy Cannon Shaped order Decanter 1960's

order Ceramic Cannon Decanter from Greek Metaxa Brandy circa 1950's-60's. This vintage decanter is created in the form of an antique cannon it is ornately decorated with a scene of Saint George slaying the dragon and glazed in shades of brown and beige. The decanter sits on a pair of rolling cast metal wheels, and it can be tipped forward to pour the contents into a glass. It has a cork stopper which appears to be dry and probably would need to be replaced to open and close the decanter for use. The underside is stamped with the Italian ceramic maker's mark and a Metaxa Brady 5 Star label. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 13” length x 8” height x 6 width”. It is quite heavy weighing 4lb 5oz, note price includes shipping.
