This a vintage berber Marirt rug.was made by berber Marirt woman.this kind of carpet wasn't made nor for commercial or stressful target.the time in those days was running slowly simply.so when a berber woman needed a order rug either for her self use or for joyful occasion.she made with great care as of she is giving birth to baby born.first,she prepared the colors from the herbs she already had collected and had thrown in the hot summer days.then she prepared water boiled under wood fire.after she crashed the herbs.she threw them in boiled water for four to six hours.then she threw the white wool that she already had prepared before.the kept inside the boiled water and it got the color the woman needed for her future rug.for example for the Bleau the woman used the indigo stone.and for the red she used the henna and for the orange thé safran .and so on .for the berber women,every rug represents her life story.
