This is a beautiful C. Tielsch Co. (Carl Tielsch) antique collectible serving display bowl. It is white with hand painted flowers in center and gold gilding and cut-outs on scalloped edges. 13 1/2” L x 9” W x 3” H It can be used for serving or gorgeous as a display or cabinet plate. Very good vintage condition, some wearing of the gold, no chips or cracks. It is marked on the back Made in Germany in green letters. Numbered 3856 and 58. The mark on back is a crowned eagle with spread wings holding a scepter and a cross above the initials C. T. Item is from production 1875 to order 1900. Carl Tielsch founded the Altwasser factory in 1845.
