From Hermit's Lane, Original Spring order Landscape Painting on Paper, Stooshinoff

I wander the hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine, a unique, ancient landform located just north of Lake Ontario and order am continually inspired by what I see every day.

........from a hidden lane, a vista looking east on a very warm April mid afternoon............

This image measures 8.75 x 12.25 inches; the external paper size is 10 x 13.75 inches. The painting is signed and dated lower left lightly in pencil, H. Stooshinoff, 2016. There is a white border around the work that helps with framing.

The painting is completed on heavy, archival Whatman artist's paper. A quick pencil sketch is followed by a bold, intuitive treatment with acrylics. Pencil was also used in the last stages.

I have been painting and exhibiting my artwork for over 40 years; I paint every day. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Education.

All paintings are placed in plastic sleeves and shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers.
