Victorian Gathered White Cotton Lace Peasant Blouse With Wide order Lace Trim

So cool gathered white cotton peasant blouse with a wide cotton lace trim.
Maybe from the turn of the century - possibly the 1920's or earlier.
I think that this blouse may have originally been part of a priest's gown.
It's wonderful - a little too short to wear as a dress though, I think it works best as a tunic top.
The cotton is medium weight and slightly sheer.
Lots of gathers at the neckline for a very full bodice.
Very wide three quarter sleeves with a large elaborate lace cotton trim.
No labels. Made by a very talented seamstress. Cotton fabric. Please wash delicate cool, drip dry.
Good vintage condition - some very small age spots.
