MCM Mid-Century Eames House order Bird Inspired Cell Phone Holder. Handmade in poplar in Yellow.

This is a handmade wooden bird inspired by the sleek and modern House Bird from Eames. This bird ("Office Bird"?) doubles as a cell phone holder. Most of the photos order show the phone holding with a fairly standard Android phone that measure approximately 6" x 3" including the phone case. I don't have an iPhone for modeling but I'm including a couple photos of the holder holding a Kindle that measures 8.5" x 5". The Kindle is a little large though it held it securely without being "tippy". An iPhone should fall somewhere between the two.

This Office Bird is crafted in poplar, finished in yellow, and measures approximately 7" long, 6.5" tall, and 3" wide. The color translated fairly well in the photos but there's always some discrepancy. The paint is named "Summer Squash" and it's actually a pretty accurate description of the color. It's a bright yellow with a tinge of orange (bold but not canary yellow). The bird was sealed with 3 coats of satin water-based polyurethane.

This is Version 2.0. Version 1.0 of the bird was a Christmas 2020 gift for my spouse and some of the shaping and construction processes were alter for 2.0. My wife's bird has been used daily since Christmas then and it continues to look like new.

Note that this is a handmade item. While I strive for perfection, you may find slight variations in the construction.
