This has so much detail with the brass and jade accents. This is made with hand carved jade stone it is real jade it's not high quality jade but it is jade. The box has dovetailed construction with engraved butterfly-form brass fittings & feather style door pulls. Designed as a miniature Chinese cabinet with hinged doors opening to reveal 3 red silk-lined drawers and a larger drawer at the bottom with secret lower compartment. A very nice example of Chinese Jewelry storage boxes featuring layers of decorative and symbolic elements. This measures 9.5” by 7” by 5.5”. Overall great antique shape.
