Absolutely gorgeous, nearly-antique, 12"x16", original oil painting by Sr. M de Paul. It took quite a bit of research to discover the artist, and learn anything about them... The artist sadly passed away several years ago, in 2018, was Sister Mary de Paul Dugan of Rochester, NY. She was a talented artist, and a dedicated teacher (as learned from her obituary). This work of art was created in 1938, the year she finished high school. (Afterward, she continued her studies abroad, including in Greece, so the faint pencil-writing on the frame describing this as a scene from/in Switzerland is quite credible. Asking $120 for this order unique, striking, piece of original artwork!.
