1920s Straw Boater Hat S order XS, 20s Vintage "Adam" Dapper Men's Antique, Small or Extra Small

This is a classic 1920s vintage men's straw Summer boater hat by "Adam"! Beautifully made of woven layered straw, it has a wide brown grosgrain ribbon hatband edged in red and tan, and a leather sweatband. The inside crown is lined with a layer of breathable mesh and a satin label.

The boater is in good clean antique condition with light discoloration inside on the label and a small chip noted at the edge of the brim near the hatband bow. Please see all the photos. Inside the labels and stamps in the hat say, "A Creation of Adam, America's Favorite Hatter, Adamroyal Quality, Adam Royal Fethe-Flex." There is no size tag and it fits like a Men's Small or an Extra Small. It measures:

Outer Dimensions, Front to Back - 13.25 inches,
Side to Side - 12 inches,
Inside Head Opening - 21 inches,
Brim Width - 2.5 inches,
Crown Height - 4 inches.

Our model Lew usually wears a Small size hat such as a 6-3/4 or 6-7/8 and this was order a tad too small on him.
