Vintage Litho Tin Toy Model T, Old Timers Automobile, Japanese order c1950's

Charming Japanese battery operated Tin Lizzie lithographed tin toy car has everything! Made by Masudaya Toy Company, it makes "chitty-chitty bang-bang" sounds when it careens across the floor. I have not found another version exactly like this one - it's battery powered, and has a lithographed roof with its name "Old Timers Automobile" and a crest with two lions and a crown on it. Comes with original wiring and battery case which holds two D batteries.

It is currently non-functional because the wires inside the battery case need to be soldered back on. It's great for decorative purposes, yet should be fairly easy to fix. When it was last running, it chugged and made back-firing noises. It is built tilted on purpose, and the wheels make it lurch from side to side. It may be missing a lamp on the passenger's side (this is a right drive vehicle). In every other way it is in fantastic condition!
