Catholic Mosaic Art Cross Icons Crucifix order Gold

This stunning mosaic crucifix presents the early iconography of the Crucifixion, the face of the Risen Christ from the San Damiano Cross, and the iconic image of Christ the Teacher. The Risen Christ looks directly at us with a compassionate gaze, regal, triumphant and strong. St. Francis of Assisi prayed under the gaze of the Risen Christ at San Damiano, "All-highest, glorious God, cast your light into the darkness of my heart. Give me right faith, firm hope, perfect charity and profound humility, with wisdom and perception O Lord so that I may do what is truly your holy will, Amen."

The cross measures 14.25" by 8.25" by 1" order and is designed as a wall cross. The metal cross base is embellished with glass and mixed media treasures.
