Rustic and Earthy. Although some of the designs may be similar, each outcome is unique and pretty much one of a kind. To create the pendant, from a sheet of copper I hand cut the circular shape, sand it, clean it, apply the design, put it through an etching process, give it another cleaning, put it through a patina process, and apply a few coats of renaissance wax to help maintain the patina. The patina colors on the pendant are going to look different depending on how the light catches it. The bail is a rustic wrap of copper wire.

This large handmade copper pendant features a raised, etched sun face design on the front. The backside is flat/plain. The patina developed some lovely subtle rainbow hues.

The pendant dangles below a handmade rosary style beaded chain of ruby fuchsite gemstones. These beads have shades of green with hints of golden brown, ruby, and blue; some with a touch of sparkle. They are gorgeous and look great with the copper pendant. The beads are hand wrapped with copper wire, patinated and hand polished to give the wire more of an aged, antiqued finish. The wire will develop an antiqued darker copper patina over time. This necklace is approximately 16 1/2" long with the pendant adding an additional 2 1/4" drop. Closes with an antiqued copper plated lobster style clasp.
